Senior Pictures - Max!

I get such joy out of photographing people in their worlds - Max's portrait session opened a new world for me :) I admire musicality, I don't own it and I'm always impressed with people who do!  Max actively participates in his worship team at Doxa Church in Bellevue.

He's a drummer for Doxa, and has trained at Bellevue Christian School.  Now he is moving into guitar, with enthusiasm!  So lovely for me, as guitars are such pretty instruments :) In addition, Max really enjoyed a brief internship at his father's workplace, Microsoft Production Studios, and this has inspired him to direct his path toward work in audio engineering, or designing audio for gaming.  Literally, a door was opened for me to visit the guts of this recording studio with Max & his Dad, Jeff - check out the equipment:

The studio is Max's happy place!  So fun for me to experience!  Neat to see a young man inspired by Pop.

OKAY - Next 1/2 of Max's Senior Portrait Session!

So - there is an old rusted out, graffiti'd up railroad trestle that I've ALWAYS wanted to SEE from the top!  And Max was up for checking it out.  I really like what we found!!! Yay for the artists :)

I'm stoked to the max for Max to take this next gap year - hopefully with work experience that will move him closer to a career in audio cool stuff that will keep him happy to go to "work" for many years to come! It was delightful to see him LIGHT up inside that studio :D I appreciated photographing in MPS which I would not have had access to - if not for this session. You can follow Max on IG @maxmcinnis - I am looking forward to keeping up with him over this next year :)  Hmmmm.... what does God have in store for this blessed son of His? Can't wait to see!
