This is what I love ~ being with people at their biggest milestones :)

I met Bryn while we made his brother's high school senior portraits,

then we made his son's,

then his daughter's ~

and I am so thrilled I could be present when he married the Love of his Life!!

Beautiful!!

Christine & Bryn didn't need anything large, didn't need a venue with a tent ;)

an umbrella would do ;)

And their most important people were right there with them: their 4 children!!

A reception with parents, siblings, nieces & nephews would follow -

but for now,

just the 6 of them :)

This location is near the Ben Howard Road boat launch, on the Skykomish River

near Monroe, WA.

We spied a sweet little sand bar, just big enough for our wedding party :)

To reach it,

we did a little puddle jumping ~

Note Pastor Mike's seriously outdoorsman waders!! Brilliant!

Pastor Todd

is one of the reasons Bryn & Christine met!

He organizes annual mission trips through Alaska Mission for Christ, to Chitina, Alaska.

Therefore...

his efforts for our Lord had a nice side effect of bringing two families involved in this mission together!!
