JT ~ Backyard basketball & climbing trees

Jonah, JT, has been in my life since he was... 5 years old ?!

My husband, Tony, was teaching Kindergarten / 1st grade Sunday school at our church

Pine Lake Covenant Church

(I love it when men teach the grade schoolers!)

and I was Tony's trusty assistant & classroom manager ;)

Jonah would have been about this age...

JT is 2nd from right next to his brother, Jacob :)

Nina & Betsy and our teen helper, Alyssa, are also here, I loved this outdoor day for end-of-year Sunday school celebration :)

Then all the families of kids pictured, and my family & the Petersen family made a Family Volleyball Small Group at our church :)

We played with the elementary-aged kids, encouraging their skills, and then while the kids played tag, the adults would play ~ we all had so much fun!

A bunch of adult & kid gym rats is what we were...

and the more things change the more they stay the same :)

One of the first things JT thought of, when we were sketching out senior portrait ideas, was climbing trees :)

JT has been playing piano with lessons from Tom Lombardi since childhood ~ 

so it was fun to hear some melodies :)

I love JT's mom, Corina :)

When Tony & I had JT in our little Sunday school class for kindys,

I just knew from his personality that I'd love his mom :)

When we asked the Littles to write the names of two friends they'd like to get to know better,

and JT listed two of my daughters,

that was it!

I introduced myself to Corina that day!

We made Family Portraits during our Senior Portrait Session as well ~

And JT's family chose a beautiful Album for a keepsake.
