I like that Taylor's fave of these pics is the moment the wind blew her hair across her face and she just kept smiling at the camera, artsy:) & that she is cool...

Oh I love an actress! I love it when people get into character, I love a straight face on someone doing something outrageous:) Like... dancing in costume in the forest... or when imagining butterflies:) These sisters are daughters of a dear friend, and I was tickled when they came to me for dance photos. The pictures celebrate their parts in a danc...

Kiddos worship the Lord through dance at Celebration Ballet Academy. This year I tried a more elaborate studio shoot, and I have learned that I have a lot to learn! Lighting, backdrops - it has been an education in the doing and in the editing. I love being stretched, but it does require patience(!) I am happy with these results:) CBA owns costumes...

I think God made us so beautifully, our bodies are amazing. Shelly's yoga "practice" (much practice makes improvement!) has brought her to a place where these poses feel great! We share that our bodies feel so good after the stretching & balance & strength required in our hot yoga class. I should post some pics of me trying these things as a comedy...

When we were heading out for the photoshoot, Nick opened the garage door and I said "What's that?" "oh - it's just something I work on occasionally." "Does it run?" "Yeah, it should!" "Can we bring it?" Thank you, God, for fun little blessings like this one, along with huge gratefulness for the enormous blessings like this one from our church frien...

This property was soooo beautiful! The rope swing under the weeping willows was a fun surprise for these sisters. They are "sharing" while angling for more turns! After a shoot, I often end up just thankful to God when I am reviewing the download. Doing something that has risk (I feel I need to "get the shots") keeps my reliance on Him and not myse...

Baby Boy Soon! (even closer now!)
May 13, 2015
We are getting close, I will meet this character soon! My cousin Amanda had done her homework for her maternity shoot - she selected favorite poses from Pinterest and meticulously planned wardrobe changes to be smooth. Despite the cold wind at Golden Gardens, we were able to use many of her ideas, and knowing her likes was valuable for me! To me, t...

My little nephew was super interested in the sand, and not soooo entranced with Auntie Jeannine (how can I compete?) so I am thrilled with what we got, and the willingness of all of us adults t...
