Fall Colors (sneak peek!)

Mark & Nici hoped for fall colors in their family pics.  As a newbie photographer, it was a perfect reason to hop on the back of my husband's motorcycle one Saturday and cruise with him looking for the perfect foliage for their shoot.  That ride produced ideas, left to simmer overnight.  The next afternoon I prayed & knocked on a door.  I love how God works things - the couple who own these beautiful Armstrong Maples are a delight.  The lady of the house handcrafts delicate fairy homes.  She doesn't sell them, they are just for her own pleasure and her garden village :)  A lovely fairy church, recently completed with sawdust all over & through it, will be next to leave the workbench for its raison d'etre!  (I had dropped into a story book!) And they find as much beauty in their property as I do.  I am hoping to go back for more visits with my girls.  A thick cloud cover was not going to allow my idea of sunshine-in-leaves-shots, so Nici kept an eye on all the traffic cams in the greater area throughout the afternoon.  She watched the sunshine come closer and as soon as the clouds over our neighborhoods began to evaporate, Mark & Nici & kids & I raced to the Maples.  I am so pleased with the results!  This is just a (ssshh- sneak peek!), more within a couple weeks:
