Summertime with Lauren ~ Tesla STEM Class of 2024 :)
Lauren!! I hope all your dreams come true :) I have so enjoyed cheering for Lauren in her club soccer career alongside my Zoe a few years ago, and I've enjoyed connecting with her family through her younger sister's volleyball with my Zoe & Sasha ~ this was a special time for me to get to know Lauren a little bit better ~ just herself :) We outlined what we were looking for as far as locations (fields, flowers, river) and matched the locations to her favorite outfits in advance ~ no surprises on the day ✔️
This was an early August session between Fall City and Snoqualmie :) If you are wondering when to book your photography and you love the colors and locations in Lauren's session, ask for a week in July through mid-August ✔️
We can plan our Session to the minute, but I NEVER know which outfit / location will be my personal favorite until we are there, looking at what we have in the back of my camera ~ with Lauren, for me, it was the tall yellow grass with her white skirt & denim jacket ~ I love this whole series so much!

It is so valuable to narrow down our clothing options in advance, so everything is 1, 2, 3 easy peasy on the day. We knew that Lauren's silk summer top would flow with this section of the Snoqualmie River :) The whole scene related to images she had chosen as favorites prior to our Planning Session.

We are thankful to SC Farms on Fall City Carnation Road SE for their hospitality in their flower fields! We arranged timing in advance, and made a donation via Venmo for using their beautiful fields, we were gentle in our walk through the stems, and we often purchase bouquets at their fresh farm stand, or U-Pick. Bright colors! Such variety :) I like to bless SC Farms with grateful business so we are always welcome to photograph in their "workplace" :)
Lauren never wears much makeup in regular daily life, and she invited Kelli Strok ~ Makeup Artist to her home earlier on photo day because Kelli has a light & bright touch that is not at all too much ~ This was about an hour prior to starting our photography. Thank you to Kelli :) And Lauren does her own hair ~ flowing like the fields!
Now back to SC Farms, with some color variety :)
Lauren has been thriving at Tesla STEM High School ~ this tells me that she is a young woman with drive and academic acuity & curiosity ~ it is a choice school and a challenge!! She seems to have taken it in stride. She doesn't express stress, she has a serene countenance and playful relationships with her family, who ALL joined us at the beginning of our shoot for some sisters and family shots! This family laughs and hugs and teases ~ Lauren has a beautiful base before she launches!! Graduation will be this June 2024! She is interested in aerospace, engineering, perhaps flight school too ~ she seems calm, cool & collected ~ I think she's looking forward to new goals :)
