Jayden - Mount Si Class of '24
I have been looking forward to photographing Jayden since he was about 10 years old! His mom, Amberly, & I had talked about doing a family photoshoot with their her "Littles" forever ~ and now finally that day arrived for me, for Jayden's senior portraits!!
Jayden just finished his Mount Si 2023 Football season
~ with honors!
Jayden was named by the Kingco Football Coaches:
2023 All-League 1st Team Guard
2023 All-League 1st Team Defensive Lineman
& special recognition
2023 All-Conference Lineman of the Year
Congratulations!!!
Amberly had been my daughter Joy's horseback riding instructor. She was very understanding, I think she understood Joy's hopes and fears as my daughter perched on the various horses, moving around and around the small barn or the large arena, working on leg pressure and the slightest shift of position as clear communication to the animals. Amberly was encouraging and stern in appropriate amounts, she was great!!
I know this year is poignant for Jayden's mum ~ enjoying every part of having him at home until her son moves away to play for the Southern Utah University Thunderbirds for Division 1 football next year.
I so enjoy planning our photography sessions with my clients, I like asking where you would like to shoot, and what outfits to bring ~ Jayden mentioned the Elk Fields near North Bend ~ and the elk obliged :)
They entered the field as we did. One large bull led the herd, and another large bull trailed the rear of the group of about 50 animals. Both the bull at the front and at the rear kept an eye on us as their family passed through, both pausing to check out our action :) I think they were reassured that all was well :)
