Social Media ImageSeattle area Portrait experience with photoraphic artist Jeannine Pound I enjoy plays & musicals, and I've loved going to Eastlake High School drama productions over the last few years - the are power-packed with talent, on-stage & off.  It was fun to contribute to the cause with a donation of a photoshoot to the 2017 Eastlake High School Drama Booster Club Fundraiser Auction.  Even more fun for me, was hearing about the auction the next day :)  A friend bidding on the package was soundly trounced by a Mystery Woman, "I had to stop bidding, I knew she'd just keep going!"  And I couldn't wait to find out who this Mystery Woman was!  Hooray for Genie!  She found this auction item to be a perfect celebration gift for her daughter, Elizabeth, graduating from Central Washington University in June, while giving financial support to her other daughter Kate's Drama Club - yep, she's the Mum of Kate, Advisor to the EHS Drama Club.  Two daughters supported with one bid!

Social Media ImageSeattle area Portrait experience with photoraphic artist Jeannine Pound Elizabeth was wrapping up her time at Central Washington University.  Even with finals and graduation looming, she did her photoshoot homework beautifully :)  - so we knew the types of images she was interested in from our conversations, outfits, and her Pinterest board.  Elizabeth has an eye for design that she brought to bear while planning her photoshoot, with super ideas and willingness to experiment.  The results are truly pin-worthy(!)

We started the morning in the middle of the night - it was mid-June in Ellensburg, so the sun was rising right around 5am!  We wanted sunrise ambiance in the farm fields surrounding the 'burg.  Elizabeth was willing to make this happen!  She opened her doors to hair & make up artist Lisa Ibarra ([email protected]) and me at an hour-too-early-to-mention!  Lisa then joined our shoot to assist, and was a joy.  The DeKoning family are my cousins by marriage, and we LOVE spending time at their acres.  Brent & Kirsten gladly let us use their fields for Elizabeth's sunrise images :)

Social Media ImageSeattle area Portrait experience with photoraphic artist Jeannine Pound Next, to the CWU pillars & steps with robe & gown.  Elizabeth loves clothes & shoes & modeling, and at Central she pursued her fashion passion in a way that will get her work!  She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Apparel, Textiles, and Merchandising.  She enjoyed great mentoring and a tight class in her major.  Her natural eye for design will be put to great use!!

Elizabeth's choice shows a lot about  who she is in a handful of words:
