Field Trip! Daniel took us into Seattle, from Kerry Park to Pioneer Square ~
Then caravanned to Seattle's Kerry Park on Queen Anne Hill:
Then the Sinking Ship Parking Garage in Pioneer Square, at the foot of the Smith Tower
I enjoyed photographing Daniel with his very customized MINI Cooper, sooo photogenic.
The car has a lot of Brit accents as befits the kid who is headed to England for college post-graduation, and is a huge Liverpool soccer fan (jersey at top, and the red version below!) as well as a world traveler who enjoys meeting people and sinking into culture wherever he goes. Familiar Liverpool FC red:
And on to explore. Pioneer Square has buildings that have survived a lot of changes, the structural brick has character, is crumbly, and is interesting to the eye. I liked the texture and details to Daniel's' Timberland jacket in this area as the sun was sinking:
My daughter, Sasha, joined us to make little video clips and help carry "stuff" and that was fun for me. We inserted a handful of her clips into a slideshow of Daniel's favorite portraits here:
At a different time, we also met for some local color and portraits with Scouse, Daniel's pup :)
I am thankful to have been able to make senior portraits for Daniel & his family!!
It was crazy being in Seattle again for the first time in a long while during this COVID era!
So much is happening with the viaduct down and the view opened up.
I enjoyed a tiny taste of a former tradition of mine when we stopped by Dick’s after dark, just prior to Daniel heading out to a movie with friends ~ Sasha and I contentedly savored hot food on our drive home, after the chilly October weather… good times 😊
