Chris_-_Class_of_23 I started photographing Chris' family in late 2019 when they came to a family mini session day at Evans Creek Preserve. This is nearly 4 years later, and it was fun for me to ask Chris what he would like to do for himself; for HIS senior portraits. He wasn't too hot on the whole idea of photographs of himself, but he did it! He did it for his Mum :) Thank you. And we planned a couple places he would enjoy the most. The first was the gravel trail that runs along Remlinger Farm in Carnation. This is the Snoqualmie Valley Trail. It is quiet, it runs over rivers and through the trees, avoiding cars and towns. It is peaceful. It was beautiful in the late Autumn. And I appreciated getting to know this place ~ I had always been curious about this trail but I had never been here before.

Chris runs here with (and without) his Eastlake High School cross country team. Some of his best friends are his teammates. I have heard all great comments about the team camaraderie at Eastlake XC. 

The trail crosses a river just to the North of the bridge that crosses the road into Remlinger.

We loved the color of the water below the bridge.

Chris and his family have been at my church, Pine Lake Covenant, for many years now :)

& I'm hoping to keep hearing word about him and seeing him once in a while after he goes to college!
